Be like water, my friend.

Our 1-room gym-dojo-clinic is a small but mighty sacred space. We are dedicated to restorative strength, philosophy, ritual, earth, healing traditions, and community. We train people from all walks of life and welcome anyone starting their lifting journey.

Offerings

  • We train strength through length—aiming to be durable through full range of motion. At The Flow, using ATG (Athletic Truth Group) methods, rotational tools, and Budokon ground-based flows, flexibility and strength combine into one robust, intuitive system. We also focus on breath mechanics and target structural balance (front and back, side to side.) Our comprehensive foot training tools (balance beam, Tib Bar, Mobo Board, TFC Solemate) restore movement, muscle tone, and freedom to your toes and feet. Sessions start from $87/hr with a minimum commitment of 3x/wk for 4 weeks. Learn more.

  • From the Inipi Ceremony of the Lakota people and Scandinavian Sauna bathing to ancient Roman baths and Celtic Vapour baths to Snow Bathing in eastern Europe, Scandinavian frozen lake bathing and Polar Bear Swimming Clubs that can be found in many countries, exposure work has been used for many purposes; spiritual, health, resilience, community. Temperature change is a stress, like exercise. Once stimulated the body adapts to become stronger and makes you harder to kill. Book your private Sauna and Ice Bath starting from $40/hr. Minimum 3 people.

  • Existence is vibratory in nature. We conduct millions of different vibrations through our mind and body every second at near light speeds. Health is when vibrations pass through our mind and body without resistance. We use C and G Bodytuners and Biosonic Otto 128 applied to different meridian points. Coming spring.

Program & Workshops

  • Our experimental sound bath program is lead by a rotating cast of musicians, musicologists, and DJs. We borrow the format of a sound bath as a durational and psychosocial container to explore the groove of rhythmic healing frequencies. Collaborators include Prince Nifty and Alia O’ Brien. Sound by Maco Speakers. Sessions are 1-2 hours, limited to 10 participants, and PWYC with a suggested $40 donation.

  • The gym is the forgotten birthplace of western philosophy, dating back to Plato’s Academy. Eastern martial arts are also deeply interwoven with Zen and Buddhist philosophy. Strength of the body is incomplete without strength of the spirit and the intellect. Our in-house residency invites Philosophers and Doctors of Philosophy to symbolically inhabit The Flow for a season, while conducting new thematic research, resulting in a focused series of informal talks. These events are free with registration and open to all. Learn more.

  • Our day camps are designed to stimulate kids age 8-12 physically, mentally, and creatively. Participants can expect a week filled with movement play, team-building, the outdoors, musical creations, and a book club: Way of the Warrior Kid by Jocko Willink, retired Navy Seal. We work to engage youth in a week designed to keep them motivated, challenged, and supported. Available during March Break and Summer for select dates. Limited to 5 participants. $350/week.
